Location
The hotel is located at the "Berliner Tor", a busy junction point between suburban Hamburg and the city centre, with public transport connections within walking distance.
Rooms
The rooms are medium sized and are decorated to a good standard in sometimes unusual colour combinations, such as dark purple curtains and red sofas. Again, their style is an interesting mixture of modern and art deco.
Restaurant
The restaurant, which adjoins the lobby, also has a semicircular shape and the walls at the entrance are painted in a miro/kandinsky style. The furnishing is modern and there is a piano for live entertainment. The restaurant opens out onto a wooden tiled terrace which is used in the summer months.
General
A very cheerful hotel due to its incredible friendly staff and also a good location for reaching the centre and the Reeperbahn, the amusement district as the S-Bahn goes directly from the Berliner Tor station direction Altona.
